About the Breath—
This Breath practice is known as a Pranayama Kriya. This practice helps to reset the Central Nervous System (CNS) .The CNS is our main “receiver” that transmits data and information throughout the body to the brain. The Central Nervous System (CNS) also stores stress, unresolved trauma, and tension.
The Body is WISE. Our bodies are always communicating to us when we are out of balance. When we don’t actively address this tension and stress in our Nervous System, it can show up as anxiety, hypertension, stress, depression, numbness, exhaustion, insomnia, brain fog, indigestion, and disease. Our health and wellbeing effects all aspects of our lives including our relationships, creativity, spirituality, energy, finances, mindset, and physical wellness.
This is why it is crucial to set aside time to support our well-being throughly practices that support our Nervous System and body on all levels.
As a result, you may experience-
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Better sleep
- More vitality and energy
- Improved circulation
- A deep sense of well-being
- Better digestion and absorption
- Faster recovery
- Clearer focus and motivation
- Greater balance in the body, mind, and spirit
The active portion of the Breath practice is done laying down and practiced in a gentle, easy, and receptive way to allow for the Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS) to “rest and digest.”
This practice nourishes all parts of the body, from our limbs, circulatory system, nervous system and our movement.
